PDP Leaders Hold Crucial Stakeholders’ Meeting, Atiku Attends (Photos)

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar attended an important meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leaders and stakeholders on Saturday.

Atiku, the PDP’s presidential candidate for 2023, announced this via his Twitter account.

According to him, the meeting in Abuja was fruitful and full of collaborative enthusiasm.

He wrote: “Earlier today, I joined other leaders and stakeholders of our great party, the @OfficialPDPNig, at a meeting in Abuja. The meeting was ripe with productive discourse and collaborative energy. -AA”

According to news reports, former Delta State Governor and 2023 presidential running mate, Ifeanyi Okowa, former party chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, and other party leaders were present at the meeting, which was held at the residence of former Foreign Affairs Minister, Chief Tom Ikimi.

Ministerial List: ‘Wike Is On His Way Out Of The PDP’

Former Transportation Minister Ibrahim Bio has predicted that former Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike will leave the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) soon.

During an interview with Arise Television, Bio declared this in response to Wike’s cabinet nomination.

He believes Wike will leave the PDP because he cannot serve as the party’s leader in Rivers State while also serving as a minister in the All Progressives Congress-led cabinet.

According to him, “Nyesom Wike is the only PDP card-carrying member on the ministerial list. I don’t know how he will marry that with being a leader of the PDP in Rivers State.

“It is apparent that Wike is on his way out of PDP.”
