Online discussion has been generated by a video that shows the All Progressive Congress (APC) chairwoman Maryam Shetty arriving to the National Assembly for screening without realising President Bola Tinubu had changed her name.
According to prior news reports, President Bola Tinubu sent an extra 19 names of ministry nominees on Wednesday to go along with the 28 candidates that had already been sent on August 2.
The president, however, retracted Shetty’s nomination and substituted Maigari Mahmud, also from Kano State, in a letter to the Senate on Friday.

Shetty was turned away from the National Assembly when he came there, as seen in a video that was just discovered online.
