Nigerians have responded on social media to Maryam Shetty’s decision to withdraw from President Bola Tinubu’s nomination of cabinet nominees on Friday.
According to news sources, Dr. Mairiga Mahmud was appointed to replace Shetty right away.
Festus Keyamo, who served as the president’s primary campaign spokesperson, made the revised list, prompting reactions from Nigerians who claimed that the All Progressive Congress (APC) campaign spokesman was given consideration because of how much he had been bullied and made fun of for not making the original list.

Keyamo’s nomination comes hours after social media users made fun of him for not being included in President Bola Tinubu’s second round of cabinet nominations.
