The approved list of 45 ministerial nominations has been forwarded to the Presidency by Senator Abdullahi Gumel, Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters (Senate).
On Tuesday in Abuja, Gumel informed the media of this.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the Senate on Monday approved the appointment of 45 cabinet nominees while delaying the approval of three further candidates.

Senator Abubakar Danladi, Nasir El-Rufai, a former governor of Kaduna State, and Stella Okete were among those whose confirmation was pending.
The three were not confirmed because they were still awaiting security clearance, according to Godswill Akpabio, Senate President.
Speaking to newsmen, Gumel said, “We transmitted the confirmed list yesterday (Monday) by about 11:30pm to the Chief of Staff to the President.
“The list is now with the Executive, which means that the ministerial nominees were cleared by the Senate and confirmed.”
