Reno Omokri, a former social media influencer and assistant to the president, has come home to Nigeria.
Omokri, who served as a spokesperson for previous President Goodluck Jonathan, has reportedly been absent from Nigeria since the All Progressives Congress (APC) came to power in 2015. This is according to Anaedoonline.ng.
Although Omokri is well known for being a fervent opponent of the recently deceased president Muhammadu Buhari, he today verified his return to Nigeria by posting a video of himself shaking hands with Jonathan, his former principal.

“Earlier Today, I Received A Presidential Welcome To Nigeria,” Omokri wrote.
Another video showed Omokri shaking hands with Nuhu Ribadu, the current national security adviser for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“Niger Coup: I Stand Fully and Unequivocally With Nigeria’s Position,” Omokri captioned the video with Ribadu.
