Hope Uzodinma, the governor of Imo State, and Senator Rochas Okorocha, a former governor of the state, were photographed Thursday night entering the Presidential Villa in Abuja with Abdullahi Ganduje, the APC’s national chairman.

Shortly after they arrived, the trio left the Villa, joined by Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos.

By the time they arrived, Bola Tinubu, the president, apparently had already left the office.

The purpose of their visit is unknown, however it may be connected to prior disputes between Uzodinma and Okorocha, who presided as governor of Imo from 2011 to 2019.

A source close to the White House told Newsmen that Alhaji Ganduje, the head of the APC Party and chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum, may take his estranged wife, Uzodimma, his estranged party man Okorocha and Governor Sanwo-Olu to the President’s residence.

Okorocha and his cronies were charged of misusing government property in a recent report by a committee by the Imo State Government.

This comes days after Okorocha was charged by the Imo State Government-created committee over the seizure of land from the Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education in Owerri.

The committee claimed that Okorocha took the college’s land by using force.

The committee suggested that the Shell Camp land be reclaimed from Okorocha and his accomplices within six months and given to the institution in the report that was delivered to Governor Hope Uzodimma and signed by the chairman, Prof. Vitalis Orikeze Ajumbe, and the secretary, B F Anyanwu.
