FEC Meeting: Tinubu Gives Ministers Targets To Revive Economy

The Federal Executive Council (FEC) has been instructed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to accomplish the goals of restoring the economy in order to improve people’s quality of life.

Wale Edun, the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, delivered the “Roadmap for the Economy” that was discussed during the first federal cabinet meeting, which was presided over by the president in the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

In response to a question, Edun stated the council concurred that the economy was not doing as it ought to at the post-FEC press conference.

He said FEC examined eight priority areas and identified targets to deliver in the next three years.

The minister said President Tinubu had charged the ministers to roll out policies and programmes to turn around the economy.
