When a two-story structure under construction at 17, Olanrewaju Street, Alausa, Ikeja, suddenly collapsed, construction workers narrowly spared death.

Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
To help, men from the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Alausa, flocked to the site.
Late on Tuesday night, the building’s supporting base gave way, causing it to collapse.

No one was hurt, and the situation was under control, according to Margaret Adeseye, director of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, who confirmed the occurrence.
Adeseye claims that “a two-story building under construction seeing its supporting base give way has experienced a partial second decking collapse.
