JUST IN: FG to close Murtala Mohammed International Airport from October 1

Festus Keyamo, the minister of aviation and aerospace development, has ordered all foreign airlines to cease operations at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport as of October 1, 2023.

He explained that this was done to make space for the airport maintenance operations.
The minister made this statement while touring the international airports in Lagos with Mr. Kabir Yusuf Mohammed, the managing director of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria.
