Nnewi: National Assembly Members Visits Innoson Vehicles (Photos)

On the 31st of August, the members of the 10th National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria paid a visit to Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company ltd.

About 12 top members of the house were recieved by the Chairman/CEO of Innoson Vehicles, Chief Innocent Chukwuma CON and management of IVM who took them on a factory tour of the IVM plant at Uru-Umdim, Nnewi, Anambra State.

Renewable energy and mass transit are part of the key issues discussed during the visit as Nigeria gears towards the use of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) for mass transportation.

The Nigerian government in recent times have shown much concern towards local manufacturing and is set to recognize and better relate with brands like the Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing.

Members on the Trip includes Hon. Afam Victor Ogene, Chairman, Hon. Kobis Arc Thimno, Hon. Mohammed Bassi, Hon.(Prof.) Sunday Nnamchi, Hon. Oluwaseyi Sowunmi, Hon. Shina Oyedeji, Hon. Okey-Joe Onuakalusi, Hon. Peter Aniekwe, Hon. Abdul Rahman Dange, Hon. Chinedu Obika, Hon. Maureen Gwacham.

Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing is Nigeria’s first indigenous automobile manufacturing company with branches across major cities in Nigeria.
