A gas leak from a truck left commuters and drivers stranded in the Ojuelegba neighborhood of Lagos State on Saturday morning.
Commuters had nowhere to go as a result of the incident that occurred about 9 a.m. on Saturday between the Stadium and Barracks bus stops as traffic was redirected to prevent an explosion.

Our correspondent, who was on the scene of the event, reported that the Lagos State Fire Service was on site and that the road had been closed off for the protection of anyone using it.

It was observed that the truck was making a loud whizzing sound as gas escaped from a point at the top of the truck.
