Four Killed As Lagos Task Force Officials, Tanker Drivers, Touts Clash At Mile 2

According to reports, a fight between some members of the Lagos Task Force, tanker drivers, and touts at Mile 2 on Tuesday morning resulted in at least four fatalities.

According to information obtained by Anaedoonline.ng, a fight occurred today at the Mile 2-Oshodi bridge, and as a result, the bridge has been blocked off, forcing drivers to find alternate routes.

Vanguard claims to have received a distress call from Mr. Richard Igbe, a stranded bystander who claimed that there had been a brawl on top of the Mile 2-Oshodi bridge.

Igbe informed the newspaper that they had blocked the entrance road by barricading the bridge.

The exact reason for the altercation has not yet been determined, although at the time of the call, Igbe alleged that four persons were dead from gunshots.

“Mile 2 is on fire; both the task force, tanker drivers, and touts are fighting seriously. I don’t know what caused the fight, but I am just hiding at Fagbems Filling station at Mile 2 and watching.

“I am going to work, but I am stranded as they barricade the whole of Mile 2 that nobody will pass”, the eyewitness reportedly said.
