Tinubu Believes He Will Win At Presidential Tribunal – Sam Amadi

Sam Amadi, a former adviser to Goodluck Jonathan, the previous president of Nigeria, said on Wednesday that President Bola Tinubu believes he will win at the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, the presidential tribunal is now making a decision on the complaints brought against President Bola Tinubu.

Atiku Abubakar, the PDP candidate for president, and Peter Obi, the LP candidate, submitted a petition objecting to Tinubu’s nomination as the party’s nominee for president on February 25, 2023.

Just a few days before the tribunal’s decision, Amadi made this statement in response to President Tinubu’s travel to India.

Tinubu had previously been reported to have landed in New Delhi, India, for a six-day official tour to take part in the G20 Leaders’ Summit and other events by Anaedoonline.ng.

Top government officials, including ministers and presidential advisers, travelled with him on the trip.

The G20 Summit is set to take place between September 9 and September 10. The president is anticipated to attend.

Amadi, on the other hand, asserted that Tinubu’s move demonstrates that the tribunal’s verdict is predetermined.

In a post on X, Amadi wrote, “Tinubu leaving d country two days b4 an important court decision that could end his tenure & attending a summit he has no real stakes, arriving b4 those with stakes, is a JOKE.

“It suggests predetermination. He believes it’s in the bag. That cocksureness bruises judicial integrity.”
