The Kogi East Senate election, which was held on February 25, 2023, was won by Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senate candidate Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.
According to information obtained by Anaedoonline.ng, the Lokoja-based electoral petition tribunal made the announcement on Wednesday.

Uduaghan defeated his nearest challenger Sadiku-Ohere by 54,064 votes, according to the tribunal chairman Justice K.A. Orjiakoin’s decision on Wednesday. Sadiku-Ohere received 51,291 votes.
He pleaded with Ohere to provide Akpoti-Uduaghan N500,000 to cover the petition’s expenses.
