Abubakar Atiku, a former vice president and presidential candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Peter Obi, a candidate for the Labour Party (LP), are noticeably missing from the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, where a ruling on their petitions is to be made.

Bala Mohammed, the governor of Bauchi State, is the only significant PDP politician who is now in court.

However, Julius Abure, the national chairman of the party, represented the Labour Party.

Since Atiku’s media director, Mr. Paul Ibe, did not answer calls left for him, Anaedoonline.ng was unable to immediately identify the causes of their absence.

The Tribunal members, under the direction of Justice Haruna Simon Tsammani, have arrived to pronounce judgement in the three petitions as of the time of this report.

Peter Obi and the Labour Party’s petition was filed, and Justice Tsammani has ordered that the judgement be delivered first.
