Kailani Muhammad Asks Atiku, Obi Not To Waste Their Time, Money Going To Supreme Court

Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar have been asked by Kailani Muhammad, a senior member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), not to file a case with the Supreme Court challenging the decision of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT).

The APC leader claimed that going to the top court for relief on behalf of Atiku of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party (LP), would be a waste of time and resources.

Muhammad stated at a press conference on Sunday in Kaduna that the verdict of the supreme court would not differ in any way from that of the tribunal and that the judges had done a thorough job by examining each problem one at a time.

He discussed the tribunal judges’ decision, which affirmed the triumph of President Bola Tinubu, as a win for democracy, the rule of law and the affirmation of the people’s mandate.

Therefore, Muhammad advised Atiku and Obi to work with Tinubu to create a prosperous nation that future generations may enjoy, noting that the president has done well in realising what his predecessors were unable achieve.

Additionally, he urged Nigerians to assist President Tinubu as much as possible in his efforts to reposition the nation, declaring that “Nigeria will be a Haven under Tinubu.”

However, Kailani claimed that the elimination of the subsidy is currently causing difficult times for Nigerians, and she urged Tinubu to expedite the palliatives and other steps that will lessen the effects.
