OPSH Murderer of Kaduna Housewife Arrested by Troops

In a significant breakthrough, the troops of Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) apprehended the suspected murderer of a housewife, Mrs. Dorathy Jonathan, who tragically lost her life while resisting a rape attempt in Southern Kaduna. The arrest follows a relentless manhunt launched by the OPSH based on credible intelligence.

On Friday, September 1, 2023, the peaceful village of Afana in Zango Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State was shaken by the brutal murder of Mrs. Dorathy Jonathan. She met her untimely end while bravely resisting a rape attempt. The suspect, identified as Lot Dauda, has reportedly confessed to his involvement in the crime. He revealed that he and an accomplice, whose name is currently withheld, approached Mrs. Dorathy while she was working on a farmland. Dauda attempted to force himself on the victim, leading to a violent struggle that tragically ended in her death

In line with the commitment of Commander Operation Safe Haven, Major General AE Abubakar, to ensure that all perpetrators of crime are brought to justice in Southern Kaduna, the troops of OPSH acted swiftly. They launched a manhunt for the culprits immediately after obtaining credible intelligence.

While Lot Dauda has been arrested and has confessed to his involvement in the crime, the search for his accomplice, who is currently at large, continues. The authorities are determined to leave no stone unturned in their quest for justice.
