Alex Otti Vows To Turn Aba Into Japan Of Africa To Yoruba Community

Alex Otti, the governor of Abia State, has revealed ambitions to transform Aba into the Japan of Africa in terms of technological advancements and ease of doing business.

During a courtesy visit by the Yoruba community of Abia State to the government building in Umuahia, Anaedoonline.ng learned that Otti made this known.

The Governor emphasised the importance of Yorubas and their host communities living in harmony, represented by his chief of staff, Caleb Ajagba.

Additionally, he promised Abians and people of the state that his administration would keep creating an environment that allowed everyone to pursue their legal endeavours.

Otti reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to changing and repositioning the state in terms of socioeconomic growth. His administration would continue to uphold the tenets of accountability, transparency, and good governance.

The governor commended the Yoruba community for their support of his government and contributions to the state’s economic development.

Yusuf Okikade, the president general of the Yoruba United Community in Abia State, also spoke. He said they were there to congratulate Otti on his resounding victory and to make a request of the state government for a piece of land for their secretariat, donations of vehicles, and appointments, among other things, so they could take part in and contribute to the state’s political development.

He praised Governor Otti for making enormous accomplishments in all areas of the state economy and compared him to Moses of our time.
