Anyone Found Guilty In Mohbad’s Death Will Be Prosecuted – Presidency

Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, better known by his stage name Mohbad, was a fast-rising Nigerian singer. According to the Presidency, anyone found responsible for her death will face legal action.

This was said on Tuesday by Moremi Ojudu, the Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Community Engagement in the Southwest, while she was paying a visit to the late singer’s family in Lagos State.

Ojudu reassured the family that all those found responsible by the ongoing police inquiry will receive justice.

She stated that President Tinubu is interested in the situation and that the case won’t be ignored.

The mother of the dead, who repeatedly showed signs of sorrow while the President was there, expressed appreciation for the gesture and urged prompt justice from all relevant authorities.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, the departed Afrobeat singer passed away on Tuesday, September 13th, in a way that angered fans, celebrities, and other notable individuals.

Ishaku Abbo, the senator for Adamawa State’s North Senatorial District, has stated that anyone implicated in Mohbad’s death will face legal action if the ongoing police inquiry results in an indictment.

Along with Nollywood actresses Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh, Abbo visited the family of the deceased singer on Thursday to offer condolences.

The senator, who serves as both the chairman of the Senate Committee on Entertainment Economy and as a senator, declared that the Senate would investigate the circumstances surrounding the late artist’s passing.

Abbo added that the Senate had passed a bill that was in its third reading and promised to lead the charge for a Creative Economy Commission.

The senator emphasised that nobody is above the law and that anyone found responsible in the death of the late artist will face prosecution by the Nigeria Police.
