Olusegun Obasanjo’s estranged wife, Taiwo Martins, has expressed her ire at the former president’s disclaimer that she was not his spouse.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, the problem began when Taiwo entered the debate surrounding Obasanjo’s remark at Iseyin, Oyo state, at the commissioning of projects overseen by the state governor, Seyi Makinde.
Obasanjo responded to Taiwo’s apologies by claiming that she is neither his wife nor a member of the Obasanjo family.

She was referred to as an imposter, and he added that only those authorised to speak for the Obasanjo family may do so.
Taiwo, in a statement titled, ‘Obasanjo, the Greatest Impostor – The roar and ranting’s of an old dying lion – laying claim to infallibility’, said the ex-President has continued to insult and ridicule his successors since he left office.
She pointed out that Obasanjo was largely to blame for Nigeria’s problems since he didn’t take use of his excellent opportunities to reverse the situation.
Taiwo also advised Obasanjo to take advice from former leaders who did not engage in violence or mockery of Nigerians.
She said, “My attention has been drawn to a statement credited to President Olusegun Obasanjo in which he called me an impostor and raised many issues beneath his status, including telling the world that my mental health is questionable.
