The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has scheduled a special National Executive Council meeting for Tuesday to discuss its intended indefinite strike.

The meeting, which will take place on Tuesday, will be conducted remotely, according to the announcement.

UPDATE: No Going Back On Proposed Nationwide Strike – NLC Vows

Although the meeting’s topic was not made clear, it might be related to the NLC’s planned strike once a 21-working-day ultimatum to the Federal Government expires.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, organised labour has previously gone on a two-day warning strike to emphasise its demands.

The NLC handed the government a 21-day deadline to comply with its requests following the warning strike.
