In a shocking incident that has left a community in mourning, a young man named Destiny Ogbantu, who happens to be the son of a serving police inspector, is accused of fatally stabbing another young man, Onyebuchi Ernest Emeka, in broad daylight in Warri, Delta State. The incident has sparked outrage and calls for justice from friends of the deceased.

The tragic incident unfolded at Block D, Police Barracks, opposite the “A” division in Warri. Reports suggest that the deceased, Onyebuchi Ernest Emeka, had visited the police barracks on Friday, September 22. However, an altercation erupted when he encountered Destiny Ogbantu, the alleged perpetrator of the crime.

The verbal dispute escalated into a physical fight, during which Destiny Ogbantu reportedly retreated to an apartment in the “D” block of the barracks. He then reemerged armed with a knife and a dagger. Fearing for his life, the deceased attempted to flee the scene, but he tripped and fell. Tragically, Destiny Ogbantu allegedly proceeded to stab him multiple times with the weapons.

Despite being rushed to a hospital for urgent medical attention, Onyebuchi Ernest Emeka succumbed to his injuries, tragically losing his life as a result of the brutal stabbing. The suspect, Destiny Ogbantu, managed to flee from the scene and remains at large.
