During the session, Funmi Falana, who served as the legal representative for Mohbad’s family, and other lawyers, engaged in closed-door discussions to determine the procedural aspects of the upcoming evidence hearings.
After the confidential proceedings, Funmi Falana addressed journalists outside Candide Johnson’s court, shedding light on the purpose and objectives of the day. She stated, “What we did today was to decide how and when the procedures would help get justice. The date has been fixed, and we will be bringing our witnesses.”
Falana, echoing the sentiments of Mohbad’s grieving family and devoted fans, reassured the public that justice would be served in this tragic case. She emphasized, “We are representing the interest of justice, we should allow peace to reign but justice must be served. We are going to get to the cause of the death.”
