The Department of State Security (DSS) has apprehended a 23-year-old woman named Fildausi Musa Ahamadu for allegedly making threats of suicide involving a bomb. Her threats were directed towards individuals she believes were responsible for the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Nasiru Gawuna, in Kano State, as determined by the election petitions tribunal.

According to reports, Ahamadu’s threats became widely known through a viral video in which she claimed to be a supporter of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) and Governor Abba Yusuf. Speaking in the Hausa language, she expressed her grievances and openly attacked the Lead Judge presiding over the election petitions tribunal.

In the video, the young woman issued ominous warnings, particularly targeting the Lead Judge. She stated that she would not hesitate to use a bomb vest to commit suicide if she ever encountered the judge. Additionally, she directed her threats towards Nasiru Gawuna, cautioning him against revealing his whereabouts, as she declared her willingness to employ a bomb vest to commit suicide and harm him.

Ahamadu did not stop there; she also launched verbal attacks on Vice President Kashim Shettima, attributing blame to him for the difficulties faced by the NNPP in Kano State.
