The West Africa Examinations Council (WAEC) has made clear what position it will take going forward regarding candidates whose results have been confiscated or withheld from the 2023 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for School Candidates.

The choices were made during the 76th meeting of the Nigeria Examinations Committee (NEC) of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), which took place from October 3rd to 4th, 2023.

The exam body states that applicants who are found to have engaged in examination misconduct, which carries a punishment known as Cancellation of complete Results (CER), would have their complete results cancelled.
