Jackson Ude, a former director of strategy and communications for President Goodluck Jonathan, has charged that some of President Bola Tinubu’s allies have remained mute throughout the debate surrounding his academic credentials.

As previously reported by Anaedoonline.ng, Tinubu was accused of falsifying the certificate he gave the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) by PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar.

President Tinubu’s certificate from Chicago State University has caused controversy in the nation, with some calling for his resignation.

President Tinubu’s allies said in a post on Ude’s X (formerly known as Twitter) that they are embarrassed of him and have put Nigeria before themselves and that they are unable to defend the President.

The former presidential aide wrote, “Bola Tinubu’s camp of silence. Have you noticed that the brightest, most intelligent and most formidable of BAT’s generals have kept quiet on this CSU issue and their silence speaks volumes.

“They include Nasir El Rufai, Tunde Fashola, Kashim Imam, Kayode Fayemi, Femi Fani-Kayode, Isa Pantami, Dimeji Bankole, Abdulrahman Dambazau, Bashir Lado, Sen. Mohammed Hassan, Abiodun Faleke and so many more.

“They cannot defend the indefensible. It is only the lowlife, dregs and urchins in his team and his Ministers that are talking.
