The reason the President’s certificate reads “F” for a female has been revealed by President Bola Tinubu’s attorney, Wole Afolabi.

President Tinubu’s certificate indicates female, according to Afolabi, who claims that there was an error at Chicago State University (CSU) that caused this.

This assertion was made by Afolabi during a Channels TV interview on Friday.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, Tinubu’s certificate was requested by PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar in his attempt to remove him from office before the Supreme Court.

Afolabi, when asked why the President’s certificate carries “F”, said, “The transcript that was provided by Southwest College indicated F. It was clear. All of the other particulars did match the information of President Bola Tinubu. Now, the registrar was interviewed on why the discrepancies. He said the person applying for the school ticked the box of a male, not a female, and when the admission letter was issued, it was issued to Mr Tinubu.

“When the question was put to Dr West Brown, he said it is not unusual for universities to mix up. He (West Brown) has been to several universities. It is possible.”

Afolabi explained that certificates were not given out at the moment of graduation until someone applied for them, which led to the differences in the signatures on the certificate.

He continued by saying that it’s possible the individual who signed the certificate Tinubu submitted to INEC was not enrolled in the institution in 1979.
