Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu, was accused of doing nothing wrong when he took the presidential plane to a polo tournament, according to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to Anaedoonline.ng, the young Tinubu faced harsh criticism for travelling to Kano aboard a presidential plane to watch the Kano International Polo Tournament finals this year.

According to reports, Seyi Tinubu and his friends arrived in Kano on Sunday around noon on the presidential plane that was carrying them.

The Nigeria Police Force and the State Security Service deployed heavily armed detachments to provide him with strict security as he was then driven to the Usman Dantata Polo Ground.

Seyi Tinubu and his company were subsequently flown back to Abuja, the nation’s capital, where he currently resides, following the conclusion of the two-week competition and the awarding of prizes.

The National Spokesman of the APC, Felix Morka, said that Seyi Tinubu wasn’t the only one that travelled on the presidential jet to the competition during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Monday night.

The Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau Jibrin, and other notable individuals were also transported to Kano for the ceremony by the plane, according to the APC spokesman, who claimed that the subject is unimportant.

According to Morka, the president and the first family use the presidential jet, which is for their convenience and protection.
