Former Niger Delta insurgent commander Asari Dokubo has denied any feud or schism between himself and President Bola Tinubu.
Dokubo’s bond with Tinubu, he says, is personal and transcends politics.
Dokubo declared his loyalty to President Tinubu while hosting popular businessman Tein Jack-Rich at his country residence in Obuama, Degema Local Government Area of Rivers State.
During the visit, Jack-Rich also urged Asari Dokubo to be steadfast in his support for President Tinubu’s economic strategy for Nigeria’s growth, of which the Niger Delta will be a significant beneficiary.

Concerning the ongoing political issue in Rivers State, Jack-Rich committed to work with Dokubo to achieve a lasting peace between Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his predecessor, Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, for Rivers State’s peace and sustained development.
Dokubo, on his part, complimented Jack-Rich for his perseverance in supporting Nigerians’ peace, solidarity, and social cohesion.
The former Niger Delta warlord revealed that he had put his problems with Governor Fubara behind him because of Jack-Rich’s appeal, while asking the Governor and Wike to settle their differences peacefully in the sake of the state.
