As voters began to cast their ballots in the off-cycle gubernatorial election, sounds of gunfire were reported at Amaimo Central School, Amaimo ward, Ikeduru LGA, Imo state.
An incident between police officers and party operatives was reported at the voting site.
Since then, the off-cycle gubernatorial elections being held today in the three states of Kogi, Imo, and Bayelsa have commenced.
