UPDATE: Aisha Yesufu Sends Protest Alarm Worse Than EndSARS

Aisha Yesufu, a sociopolitical activist, has issued a warning about a protest that will be even more destructive than the national “End SARS” demonstration in 2020.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, EndSARS was a nationwide series of large-scale demonstrations against police brutality and a decentralised social movement.

The notorious Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Nigerian Police was to be abolished, according to the slogan.

The demonstration, which got its start on Twitter, spread throughout Nigeria’s major towns and was accompanied by violence, which claimed the lives of numerous young Nigerians.

One of the protesting campaigners, Aisha Yesufu, stated that Nigerians could simply be unprepared for what is about to happen.

Yesufu observed that the impunity and brashness of the corrupt politicians and dictators who have rigged their way into power are the main causes of the boiling resentment in the country.

“Nobody saw the #EndSARS protest coming. Nobody will see the next uprising coming,” she wrote on X.

“Sadly, it might end up being violent. There is a simmering anger fueled by the impunity and brazenness of the corrupt politicians and rulers who have rigged their way into power. Nobody will be spared.”
