The late singer Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, has issued a warning to anyone who may be considering removing his son’s body for burial without first getting his permission.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, Mohbad’s autopsy results were taking some time, so singer Bella Shmurda and actress Tonto Dikeh urged the police to release his body for a “befitting burial.”

But Mohbad’s father cautioned that no one should take the late singer’s body without his permission in a video message posted on his Tiktok profile on Sunday. He emphasised that Mohbad is still his son even in death.

“If they want to do anything there, I’ll be the one to authorise them. Nobody should go and carry MohBad’s body from there.”

According to Anaedoonline.ng, Mohbad passed away on September 12, 2023, under dubious circumstances, and was buried the following day.

A week or so after his death, his body was dug up for an autopsy in response to popular demand for a full probe into his unexpected death.

Following the autopsy, the police placed his body in the mortuary.
