Both Hon. Moses Thomas Sule, the speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, and Hon. Gwottaon Fom, the deputy speaker, have tendered their resignations.
The most recent development, according to Anaedoonline.ng, occurred a few days after the state governor, Caleb Mutfwang, and a few PDP legislators in the state assembly were dismissed by the Appeal Court in Abuja.
After Sule resigned, Gabriel Dawang, a member from Pankshin North, was chosen to take over as speaker of the Assembly, and Timothy Dantong, a member from Riyom, was chosen to take over as deputy speaker.
