The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stated on Sunday that it is awaiting a certified accurate copy of the ruling that dismissed Caleb Mutfwang, the governor of Plateau State.

Before determining its next course of action, the PDP claims that it wants to review the decision.

According to a senior party official who talked with Vanguard in Abuja under condition of anonymity, the party was getting ready for “an appropriate response.”

“Remember, we still have a right to take this matter to the Supreme Court.”

As previously reported by Anaedoonline.ng, the Plateau State Governor, Caleb Muftwang, was dismissed by the Appeal Court in Abuja, and Nentawe Goshwe of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was proclaimed the election’s victor.

Section 285(2) of the Nigerian Constitution states that Muftwang was not legitimately sponsored by the PDP. This ruling by a three-member panel was reached unanimously.
