Chef Dammy Arrested by Police Following Petition from Pastor

Famous Akure, Ondo State-based chef Chef Dammy was detained by the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) Zone 17 Headquarters after her pastor filed a petition against her.

It’s still unclear what the preacher is pleading for.

Oluyemi Fasipe claims on his X handle that there is a history of dubious activities and purported corruption at the Zone 17 Headquarters in Akure. People who have interacted with the station directly have affirmed this information.

“That police station has a history of extremely corrupt practices and I am speaking from personal experience. I urge the families of Chef Dammy to speak out in case the right of Dammy is abused at any point.” He said.

Upholding the law and defending the rights of all citizens is the NPF’s duty, and any transgression of this norm needs to be dealt with right away.
