Nigerian Army Takes Responsibility for Deadly Air Strike in Kaduna

The airstrike that caused multiple casualties in Tudun Biri village, Kaduna State, on Sunday has been attributed to the Nigerian Army.

The Nigerian Air Force was mistakenly reported to have carried out the operation; the Air Force quickly refuted this assertion.

During an emergency security meeting on Monday, Kaduna State’s Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, affirmed the army’s admission.

Concerns over the circumstances surrounding the air strike and the necessity of a comprehensive inquiry to determine the events leading to the terrible loss of lives and injuries in the community have been raised by the occurrence.
