Innoson Lead, Others Follow – Soludo, After Touring IVM Factory

Anambra State Governor,  Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR, visited the Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company (IVM), the pioneer Vehicle Manufacturing Company in Nnewi today as part of his effort to promote indigenous manufacturing and boost the automotive industry in the state.

The governor who came with some members of his cabinet, the Commissioner for Industry, Mr. Christian Udechukwu, Commissioner for Transport, Mrs Patricia Igwebuike, Managing Director of Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency (ANSIPPA), Mr Mark Okoye was given a warm reception by the CEO Innoson Vehicle manufacturing (IVM) Chief Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma, together with his management and staff of the company as he toured the state-of-the-art facilities in Uru Umudim, Nnewi and the factory extention for manufacturing of CNG/LNG vehicles at Umuezena Umudim still under construction.

Governor Soludo reaffirmed his commitment to assisting domestic businesses and showed his enthusiasm for the company’s accomplishments during the visit.

How Innoson Vehicles Can Pave the Way for Engine Manufacturing in Nigeria

During his address, Governor Soludo expressed his belief that supporting local industries is paramount to the progress of Anambra State and the entire nation. He commended Innoson Vehicles for its steadfast commitment to Nigeria’s economic advancement and job creation through the expansion of its manufacturing plant in Nnewi.

His words; “Innoson leads others follow. I commend you for been steadfast and dedicated in shifting the narrative that Africa can produce cars too. The government will do everything within its means to create an enabling environment for business.”

Solution as he is fondly called highlighted Innoson Vehicles’ new expansion site, as a testament to the company’s ongoing commitment to innovation and economic development.

Additionally, he suggested possible partnerships to advance the expansion and advancement of the automobile industry in the state by creating an industrial park at Akwuihedi in Anambra State.

Chief Innocent Chukwuma conveyed his gratitude for Governor Soludo’s visit by calling him the Chief marketer of Innoson Vehicles and as well commend his unwavering dedication to the growth of the automobile sector in Anambra and Nigeria at large.

The event was attended by notable dignitaries, including the Commissioner for Industry, Mr. Christian Udechukwu; the Commissioner for Transportation, Barr.
