In a shocking and painful development, the city of Nnewi was awashed with sad news of the death of former President-General Nzuko Ora Nnewi, Sir Ugochukwu Udemezue popularly known as Ifeneti Nnewi today.
In a message sent to Anaedoonline.ng, Ifeneti died in the early hours of this morning after a brief illness.

“It is indeed with a heavy heart that the PG and Executive Members of Nzuko-Ora Nnewi announce the passing unto glory of our immediate past PG, *Sir Ugochukwu Udemezue JP(Ifeneti Nnewi)* which sad event occurred early hours of Thursday morning 7th December 2023 after a brief illness.
This is not the kind of news we expect to hear now or the nearest future but we cannot question the Almighty God who gives and takes at His own appointed time.
Our prayers are with his family he left behind for God to give them and the entire Nnewi the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss in Jesus name, Amen”.
