A Northern attorneys’ organisation has announced that it intends to sue the Federal Government, requesting fair compensation for those who were injured in Tudun Biri, Kaduna State, by military airstrikes.

More than 120 people died in the sad event, which happened during Maulud celebrations.

Speaking on behalf of the attorneys’ forum, Barrister Nafi’u Abubakar underlined the group’s dedication to seeing justice served to the families left behind by the tragic event that caused irreversible losses. Speaking to the media on Saturday in Kaduna, Nafi’u asked the Federal Government to get started on a comprehensive and independent investigation into the situation as soon as possible.
