Aloy Ejimakor Reaveals Who Is Behind Nnamdi Kanu’s Detention

The head of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has a special counsel named Aloy Ejimakor. According to Ejimakor, Bola Tinubu is the one stopping the release of the agitator, not the courts.

Ejimakor contended that Tinubu has the power to give the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) the order to halt Kanu’s trial, using Section 174 of the constitution.

Ejimakor asserts that Tinubu has the authority to intervene in any criminal prosecution, highlighting the fact that “the buck stops” at Tinubu’s desk.

Ejimakor stated his position on social networking platform X, saying, “Tinubu, not the Court, is holding #MNK.” The Attorney General “may stop any criminal trial initiated by him” against any person, according to Section 174 of the Constitution.

“Tinubu can direct the AGF to stop the trial of MNK. @officialABAT, the buck stops at your table.”

Furthermore, Ejimakor contested the notion of a united Nigeria, suggesting that the Igbo community is facing repercussions for voting in favor of the Labour Party’s Peter Obi.

“Where’s the #OneNigeria when Ndigbo are being punished for voting @PeterObi.

The lawyer concluded his remarks with a call for the release of Nnamdi Kanu, challenging authorities to prove him wrong by ensuring Kanu’s freedom.

“They forget that Ndigbo also voted for Shagari, OBJ, Yar’Adua, GEJ & Atiku & Yoruba voted for Obasanjo, Ijaw voted for GEJ & Hausa-Fulani voted for Shagari, Yar’Adua & Atiku. #FreeMNK to prove me wrong,” he articulated.
