In a significant stride towards fostering skilled technical manpower and youth development, the Innoson Kiara Academy proudly marked the graduation of its 2023 cohort in Auto Diagnostics on December 16th at the Nnewi Campus in Anambra state. The six-month intensive program equipped these aspiring professionals with expertise in utilizing advanced automotive tools, including the Air Conditioning Machine (ACS 611), Battery Tester (BAT 131), Brake Fluid Tester (BFT 100), Battery Charger (BAT 645), and Car Scanner (KTS 350 & 560).
Beyond theoretical knowledge, the trainees engaged in practical sessions and a comprehensive market tour focusing on spare parts and their prices. This holistic approach ensures that they not only possess theoretical understanding but also practical insights, positioning them as valuable assets in the automotive industry.
Innoson Kiara Academy To Train 2,000 Youths
Speaking at the 2023 graduation ceremony, Chief Dr. Innocent Chukwuma, CEO of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing, emphasized the significance of honesty and excellence in business. He encouraged the graduates to apply the skills acquired, expressing his commitment to providing job opportunities for those in need. CEO of Innoson Kiara Academy, Endi Ezengwa, urged the trainees to embrace the Innoson Spirit of innovation and enterprise, emphasizing that the training is designed to enhance their effectiveness in the field.
Highlighting the societal impact of the training, Anambra State Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr. Patrick Agha Mba, underscored its role in human capital development and boosting the local economy through manufacturing. He commended Innoson Kiara Academy for their efforts and encouraged the graduates to contribute to the prosperity of society.
Innoson/BOSCH Automobile Training Kicks Off As Over 200 Students Are Inducted
Established in partnership with the renowned German Auto Company, BOSCH, Innoson Kiara Academy is a Technical and Vocational institution at Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM). The project for 2023 was supported by the German Cooperation, DEG/develoPPP.DE, BOSCH and IVM. With about 25 auto diagnostics workshops across Nigeria, this program not only imparts updated skills in auto maintenance and repair but also opens doors to job opportunities and a professional network for the graduates. These annual training initiatives not only elevate the quality of manpower in the auto industry but also contribute to addressing unemployment challenges among Nigerian youths.
