Innoson Kiara Academy To Train 2,000 Youths

Innoson Kiara Academy (IKA) is targeting to train Two Thousand Youths in two to three (2-3) years. This was disclosed by the Chief Executive Office (CEO) of the institution, Mr. Endi Ezengwa at the retreat organised by the Innoson Kiara Academy/Bosch project for Auto Mechanics currently going on at the Enugu Campus.

Ezengwa said the concept for the long-term implementation of apprenticeship training through the workshop has been developed.

‘The programe is lead to improve local auto mechanical repair services (times and cost reduced, improved customer satisfaction) due to the use of Express Bosch Car Service (EBCS) workshops in their respective Hubs

Ezengwa while outlining the projects IKA has in stuck in the nearest future said the objective of the projects is to enable unemployed Nigeria youths gain theoretical and practical skills and find gainful employment in the auto-mobile manufacturing and maintenance field.

‘Hundred trainees has been trained and supported to set up IVM Express Bosch Car Service (EBCS) workshops in their respective home states.

Training Manager, Innoson Kaira Acadamy (IKA), Mr. Ifeanyi Joseph Okeke in an exclusive interview with Anaedoonline.ng said ‘After the graduation of some of the trainees last December, IKA employed some of the best graduates while others will be invited to subsequent workshops.

‘IKA will continue to mentor and monitor the growth of those who graduated from the academy who are yet to be employed so as to assist and guild them in reaching their destination and also to re-equip them more on certain areas in other to be more competent.

‘One Hundred and twenty (120) N-power candidates were trained including Presidential Amnesty Program (PAP) which recommended the training of ex-militants from the south-south, after which government promised to empower them.
