The reconstructed Okpuno Uruagu Primary Health Centre Nnewi, has been commissioned by the Executive Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo.
The Primary Health Care Center which also has a hall was renovated and donated to Anambra State Government by Chief Oliver Nwagbala.
Commissioning the facility, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo praised the efforts of Chief Oliver Nwagbala who renovated the facility and also equipped it.

According to him the project which was completed through private-public community partnerships, showcases the growing collaboration between the state government and its citizens, adding that without the active collaboration of communities and individuals, the task of putting Anambra on the global map will be much difficult.
On his own part, the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Afam Obidike revealed that over 1,400 women have benefitted from Governor Soludo’s free antenatal and delivery services across all government hospitals and primary health centers in the state, with no recorded deaths.
Speaking also, the donor, Chief Oliver Nwagbala while thanking the Governor, said that the project was part of his own contributions towards community, noting that he is poised to do more.
Appreciating Chief Oliver Nwagbala, the Traditional Ruler of Okpuno Uruagu Nnewi, Chief Obi Afam Iloka (Obibuenyi), praised Chief Oliver for his contributions towards the development of the Community, urging his subjects especially those who are financially buoyant and yet to show up, to emulate him.
The event had in attendance the Commissioner for Industry Christian Udechukwu, Member Representing Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency, Hon. Uchenna Eleodimmuo, Transition Committee Chairman for Nnewi North, Engr. Chris Obiorah, and Chief Valentine Ozigbo.
Others are; Nnewi Business Leader and Manufacturer, Chief Sir. Dr. Cletus Ibeto, the Founder and Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Limited (IVM), Chief Dr. Innocent Chukwuma, CEO of Gabros International, Chief Gabriel Chukwuma, CEO of Jesco Oil, Chief. J. Ezeokafor, Dame Esom Nwafor-Orizu, the Traditional Ruler of Umudim Nnewi, His Highness, Obi Benneth Okafor, the Traditional Ruler of Nnewi, Obi George Onyekaba (Obi Nnewichi), and many others.
