‘Don’t Wait Till Nigerians Start Stoning you’ – Primate Ayodele Warns Tinubu

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the head of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has urged Bola Tinubu to confront Nigeria’s economic problems right away, stressing that he shouldn’t wait until his constituents are considering stoning him.

Primate Ayodele warned Tinubu to give the nation’s economic condition top priority because it is still getting worse.

Oluwatosin Osho, the president’s spokesperson, issued a statement in which the cleric threatened widespread protests should the president ignore the pressing issues.

Primate Ayodele encouraged the president to act immediately, voicing concern about the widespread hunger and the incapacity of wage earners to support themselves.

“If Tinubu doesn’t get to work immediately and find a way to solve our economic issues, there will be massive protests. The people are crying already, salary earners are not satisfied, and it will get to a state where governors will not be able to pay salaries again.

“Don’t wait till they start stoning you and every politician before working, you need to do something now; there is serious hunger in the land. It will also affect some African nations. The president should do the needful,” he said.

Primate Ayodele emphasised the gravity of the country’s food crisis and the pressing need to resolve the economic issues to avoid negative consequences for Nigeria and its neighbouring African countries.

Primate Ayodele listed five important areas that Tinubu has to concentrate on when he released his 2024 prophecies.

“Government of Nigeria must work on five things in 2024 which can make the country to be great: Stable light, Improve security and buy more weapons, Development of infrastructural facilities, Agriculture (plenty of food) and Create employment.’’
