A witness to the horrific facts of the massacre in Plateau, which claimed over 300 lives, has come forward.

On Christmas Eve, the Assemblies of God’s Church in NTV resident Reverend Jonathan’s home was reportedly invaded by terrorists on 50 motorcycles.

The tragedy occurred as the Reverend and his churchgoers were getting ready to celebrate the birth of Jesus.

Despite early reports that said 195 people were slain in 17 different localities, an unidentified source who spoke exclusively to Parallel Facts claimed that the number of dead topped 300.

The source stated that over 150 lives were lost in one village alone, and that 10 people were shot and killed in Reverend Jonathan’s residence.

The informant also stated that further communities were assaulted, with hundreds of people killed, and that she feels some Nigerian media outlets failed to report on this.

“On the eve of Christmas, that’s on December 25, 2023, some people were in the pastor’s house, reverend Jonathan, who is the reverend in assemblies of God’s church in NTV, and they heard three gunshots from another direction that was close to a checkpoint, and then one of them called to ask what was happening, and then nobody responded. The next thing they saw like 30–50 motorcycles coming with light.

“The community is structured in a way that they all live together, close to a checkpoint. At the end of the community, there are settlers that live there, so when the motorcycles came in, there were massive gunshots from the direction where the settlers were.
