Court Grants Ex-CBN Gov Emefiele Travel Permission With New Conditions

Godwin Emefiele, a former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), has been granted permission by the Federal Capital Territory High Court to travel outside of Abuja.

Emefiele, who is presently dealing with legal issues, showed up in court on Thursday, January 18, 2024, asking for his bail terms to be changed.

Although the court approved Emefiele’s travel, it added a new requirement requiring Emefiele to stay in the nation.
