During a speech in New Hampshire, former president Donald Trump made a bold pledge to defend Americans from possible government tyranny.
Trump promised to block the implementation of a digital currency issued by a central bank, claiming that doing so would give the federal government unheard-of power over people’s personal assets.
He emphasised that such a system posed a threat to freedom and declared his determination to block its implementation in the United States.

Furthermore, Trump pledged to put strong measures in place to stop regulators and banks from “de-banking” people because of their political views.
Trump articulated “Tonight, I am also making another promise to protect Americans from government tyranny. As your president, I will never allow the creation of a Central Bank Digital Currency. Such a currency would give the federal government absolute control over your money.
“This would be a dangerous threat to freedom – and I will stop it from coming to America. We are also going to put in place strong protections to stop banks and regulators from trying to DE-BANK you for your political beliefs. That will NEVER happen while I am your president,” Trump Promised.
