They defeated Middlesbrough 6-2 overall to secure a rematch with Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final, which is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. on February 25.
On December 20, 2023, Liverpool defeated West Ham United 5-1 in their one-leg Carabao Cup quarterfinal match.
