The EEDC (Enugu Electricity Distribution Company PLC) addresses power supply challenges as it alerts its customers about ongoing power supply challenges within its network. These issues stem from reduced power generation due to gas constraints affecting thermal generating companies in Anambra and other areas.

EEDC Offers Free Eye Screening, Health Checks To Customers

This drop in generation has resulted in a decrease in the daily megawatt hour (MWH) of energy allocated to distribution companies nationwide. Consequently, the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), EEDC’s primary power source, has implemented system load-shedding to prevent system collapse.

EEDC Attributes Power Supply Disruption In Parts Of Its Network To Rainstorm

This situation has affected the quality of service provided to customers, as EEDC is dealing with very low energy allocation from TCN. As a result, load-shedding measures are being applied to ensure fair distribution of available power among customers.
