The opposition party underlined that Tinubu and his group must admit they are running out of workable answers and look for outside assistance, understanding that no amount of disinformation can hide the rising number of Nigerians slipping below the poverty line.

The LP expressed dismay over the significant increase in the cost of necessities including rice, garri, flour, and protein since January and pointed out that there is a general feeling of hopelessness across the country.

The celebration also emphasised the concerning outcomes, which include rising youth crime rates and an increase in suicide instances.

Ifoh said that “it is either that the government is bereft of ideas on how to check this unfolding catastrophe or that it chose to continue to act as if it is still campaigning for office,” insisting it is no time for politics.
